The pace of life is just so crazy that I am so very grateful for any minute when I can slow down and paint. Painting is something that can't be rushed. Not ever. It only works when you slow down and just breathe...

#2 pencils are overrated. 

I want to make an agenda and invent the possible paths. I want to make lofty goals. Although I disagree that #2 pencils are overrated, I think they are one of the best things ever invented!

With some precious free time last night I had the time to paint these gerbera daisies. I painted it before, but this time I went a bit larger. I actually like painting the same thing over and over. There is always something new to learn, and like handwriting, it's never the same twice. There's lots going on in my world right now so I'm sending love and positive thoughts to some friends in need of some extra love right now... Just hit pause. I wish that at least once every day. Hit pause to slow time down, at least for a moment. Hit pause, just to have a minute to rest. Not how it works, I know. At least while I paint I lose time, or at least, for a moment, I forget what time it is...until the alarm goes and it's time to be off and running!
