I'm delighted to say that my painting "chasing dreams" was chosen as a finalist for the May 2016 Art Muse Contest in the Emerging Artist category selected by juror, and fabulous artist, John P. Lasater, IV. He had this to say about my painting:
It’s not easy to paint sunlight and shadow convincingly, especially with such abstract shapes. I don’t even mind that it’s a riot of color…there are some hidden grays that make it work well. John
