Pushing boundaries. I have to admit I'm afraid to paint people and figures. It's so challenging. And I'm not sure why. So I gave it a shot and I am so happy with how this one turned out. It's from a photo of two of my great nephews. I love their body stances. So darn cute!

The painting challenge this week on Daily Paintworks is paint your parent. I've wanted to paint this of my dad for years so why not now. he was an amazing guy and we all miss him every day. I think I will paint this one again to see what happens differently the second time around (plus I have two sisters who may each want one :)
