I just love this little painting. I need to find a better way to take photos of my paintings because they are always more magical in person than I can capture in my photos. I guess that's a good thing, better than the other way around! Anyway, on this one the underpainting was a bright orangy-red. The blues and purples of the berries are a beautiful complement, and the color overtop of the background is a beautiful, magical light blue.
