This morning my youngest set off for middle school. Bittersweet.
And I finished a larger painting that I've been working on for a long while. Bittersweet. Now it's time to start the second of two commissioned pieces. Exciting! It's one of the moments in time where I measure where I am compared to a year ago, with only an idea of where I may be next year, at this same time...time marches on.
