Sweet summer onions. My Saturday morning trip to Central Market in beautiful downtown Lancaster was just filled with gorgeous painting inspiration. And I was blessed to have some precious free time on Sunday morning to paint. This one was absolutely effortless and I am thrilled with how it turned out. Pure joy.

It's such a fun word. And appropriate for a fun painting. I've been busy with a couple of commissioned paintings, plus working on this painting, which is a little bit larger than my norm. This one is 12"x12". I have also been busy preparing to submit to something creative that I would love to be a part of. Anything is worth a shot, right?!?
