This is my day 5 painting in Leslie Saeta's 30 paintings in 30 days (you can check out the challenge here). I've participated several times in the last couple of years and I really enjoy doing it with other artists. I paint really early in the morning, before work, still have kids at home, and I make the effort to fit it in, so there's no excuse. Anyone can fit what the love into their day, no matter how busy they are. Even though I paint almost every day, it's almost impossible for me to accomplish 30. I'll give it my best effort though, or have lots of fun trying!

30 day challenge

So I didn't make it to 30 paintings this month. Just couldn't keep up. I do love the ones that I did accomplish…thanks to Leslie Saeta for inspiring so many artists to make a huge effort to fit creativity into each and every day! Happy Friday!

beginnings

Happy New Year! To start the year of right, I am doing Leslie Saeta's 30 day painting challenge, again. I am always aspiring to actually painting every single day. If nothing else, I am persistent! So here we go again, and I am excited! This colorful rooster is 6"x6", $75, unframed.
