On a whim I entered my painting "philomena 2" in the Lancaster County Art Association "dog days" show, a themed membership exhibit featuring animals and pets, which is showing in the Kauffman Gallery in Strasburg, PA, and continues through September 11. It won third place in the show. How fun is that? Philomena 2 is available for purchase; $85, unframed.

This is a commissioned piece I did for my college rookie to give to her husband for his birthday. I am having such a difficult time getting nice photos of my paintings now when I can't photograph them outside. Any suggestions on what works for anyone else for photographing paintings indoors? It's snowing like crazy again here in Lancaster, PA!
