mysterious
It finally feels like spring and inspiration is everywhere. After such a long and heavy winter, springtime feels amazing, right? Reminds me that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Always a mystery in the middle, but things become clear...eventually.
This original 6"x6" oil painting is available, unframed, for $85 in my Etsy shop here.

on the brighter side
Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning in too much to do. Okay maybe not sometimes, maybe almost all the time. Too much that I really just need to do, but don't really want to do. I am sure most people feel the same way. Instead of fighting it, I know it's best to just accept it and make the most of it. I try, I really do. So what's my point? Just this:
Happiness is a journey, not a destination. Work like you don't need money. Love like you've never been hurt, and dance (or paint) like no one's watching. Not sure who to attribute this too, but definitely words to live by. Especially when you feel like you're drowning! This original 6"x6" oil painting is available, unframed, for $85, here.

a rosey disposition
Each morning I hope to have one. A rosey disposition. Some days I do. Some days, not so much. I started my day with a fun run with two friends, then had a few minutes to finish up this painting that I started last night. So far, so good, I'd say. Lots to get finished today.
Oh, and I looked up Rosey Disposition on the web this morning and found this adorable blog that you might enjoy!
This original 8"x8" oil painting is available, unframed, for $100.

white flower
This is a tiny 4"x4" painting of a white flower...white? Really? I really am battling with trying not to paint "tight" and to keep things loose...maybe I need to stop fighting it and try to let it happen naturally. I never seem to be able to let anything happen naturally. I think that is something that is so attractive to me about being an artist...that somehow I will transform myself into being a loose, carefree, laid back, go-with-the-flow person...all I can do is keep trying, right? Original available unframed $60.
